There is also an at home HIV Test, called Oraquick that is also available in the US, and can be purchased in pharmacies such as CVS and Walgreens. This test packet allows you to get tested in the comfort of your own home.
These two really found magic on this track. Timeless music...Enjoy

I love these sandals by Alaïa. I think they are so sexy and edgy! I would style it with a pair of skinny jeans and a blazer. The are on sale on NET-A-PORTER, which is great, but looking through Steve Madden's website, I saw a steal. Of course, I couldn't keep this to myself, I had to share! So here goes....

I have been vacationing for the past 6 weeks, eating lots and lots and lots of home cooked "naija" food. In the past 2 weeks, I have been eating out like crazy. Now that my vacation is almost over and I am stuffed to my eyeballs, I need to get my act together! LOL! I have heard sooooo much about the INSANITY workout, and would really love to try it. I got the videos, and after trying the "fit test", let's just say I am not sooo fit right now! o_0 As much I would like to lose my "holiday weight", I want to also get in the habit of eating right and working out at least 3-4 times a week.
Has anyone tried the Insanity Workout? Would you recommend it? What are your thoughts about it? And if you would like to try it, maybe we can motivate one another?

Alexander McQueen June 21, 2013
Ladies, isn't this Union Jack design Box clutch by Alexander Mcqueen sooo adorable? It is such a bold statement piece and an absolute eye-catcher. As much as I love this clutch, the price tag of $1,695 has me thinking about the 101 things I can do with that money. It is worth the price, no doubt, but the bargain shopper in me is definitely considering my other options... And guess what, we do have another option!!! :D So you can definitely get the same look for waaaaaaay much less and still look just as fab!

Traveling is one of my favorite things to do. As I am in a Long Distance Relationship, and have family and friends in different parts of the world, I don't even have a choice but to travel. Being that I am always in the air to somewhere, or shopping for air tickets for myself or someone else, I have kind of figured out the best way to get the best deals. As much as I love shopping for airline tickets, sometimes it can get really stressful, especially when you are working with a budget. One of my biggest "customers", is my mum. No matter where in the world she is traveling to, she gets me to shop for her tickets. She also has a habit of waiting till the last minute, and then telling me to find a ticket, for less than or equal to a certain amount of money, and she does it because she knows that somehow I will deliver. When she calls me to book her a ticket, I always reply with the same "smart" comment, "Mummy, I am a Doctor, not a travel agent!", then I end up searching for the tickets anyway! LOL! :D
As it is the summer, this is the time when everyone is taking a vacation or flying to somewhere. So I have decided to share some of the tips that have worked for me constantly. With these simple rules, I have been able to score amazing deals on tickets, regardless of the class of travel. Before anybody calls me again (you know yourselves), to look for tickets, READ THIS POST!! LOL! :D OK! Fine! Y'all can call me. :) So here goes...

Hey Everyone,
A few weeks ago while I decided to run a quick errand; you know those ones you go on without taking a shower, just throw on a pair of sweat pants and a tee- shirt and go! I went on one of those, and what was supposed to be a 30 minute errand turned into a 5-6 hour shopping spree! LOL! I went to the Beauty supply store, Walmart, got some frozen yoghurt, went thrift shopping, Nordstrom rack, and Target. While at target, I saw this dress and scarf, and I just had to have it! Besides the obvious reason that it is neon yellow (which I loooovve), I love maxis, and this one fit right (length wise, because I like them really long), plus the dress cost $25 and the scarf was on sale for $4! A few days ago, I decided to wear this outfit to the mall, and visit some friends. This is how I styled it; I paired it with this denim vest, bright colored accessories and my clear gold-studded sandals. Enjoy!

Today is World Sickle Cell Day! What better day to spread awareness about Sickle Cell Disease? Most of us either have the Sickle Cell Trait, has a family member or knows someone with sickle Cell Disease. For those of us who still don't know about it or would like to learn more, here are a few facts about Sickle Cell Disease (SCD)...
SCD is a group of inherited red blood cell disorders. Healthy red blood cells are round, and they move through small blood vessels to carry oxygen to all parts of the body. In someone who has SCD, the red blood cells become hard and sticky and look like a C-shaped farm tool called a “sickle”. The sickle cells die early, which causes a constant shortage of red blood cells. Also, when they travel through small blood vessels, they get stuck and clog the blood flow. This can cause pain and other serious problems such infection, acute chest syndrome and stroke.

The men's dress slippers, also known as the Prince Albert slipper, have been making a lot of waves in the fashion industry. Over the last couple of seasons, this footwear has been featured in a lot of fashion shows, lookbooks and campaigns. They may be plain or with detailing, such as tassels, studds or embroidered monograms. They can be paired with a wide variety of outfits, from smart-casual to red carpet looks. They are so versatile; you can throw them on with a pair of jeans to go out shopping, or to a black tie event.
Now Ladies, we love it when our men look good right? If your man does not own a pair and you are thinking of what to get him for his birthday, your anniversary, or a just-because gift, I suggest, you add this to the top of your to-buy list. As women can rock the dress slippers too, you can get yourself a pair as well, while you are out shopping for your man, if you don't already have one.
To all the fashion forward men in the house who already own a pair(s), continue to rock them with confidence! For those of you who are yet to get onboard, or maybe still need some convincing, below are a few ideas on how to wear the men's dress slippers...

Hey Everyone! I was just thinking... I have never read any books or novels, besides "Chike and the river", "Eze goes to school", and "Ukwa ruo oge ya o daa", books that I read in middle and high school, and my text books for undergrad, and grad school. I didn't even read the infamous "50 Shades of Grey." I know! I know! It is shameful!... It is even more surprising, as my mum reads a lot of novels, and her favorite authors are Jackie Collins and Jeffrey Archer. I tried once or twice to read a novel and I never got past the 4th page.
I would like to start reading more, and I am looking for a starter book to read.
So, what interesting book(s) would you recommend to a novel novice like me?
It's Summertime, and I know a lot of you beautiful ladies will be going
to the Beach, I know I will! Sometimes, I really don't want to wear a
bathing suit, swim, or get my hair wet; I just rather look pretty on the
side and sip on some Virgin Pina Colada! LOL! Here is a look I created, from H
& M, that is easy breezy and will let me get as much air, as the
other bikini clad beauties. The colors are fun, vibrant and beautiful. Don't forget your sunscreen! Hope you like!

What better way to make an outfit pop than to add a bright colored arm candy? I have been day-dreaming about these beauties and it is only a matter of time before they make their way to my closet. Some of them are way over my budget, but hey! A girl is allowed to dream, right?!
Ladies, if you would love to add any of these bags to your closet too, continue to read to see how you can make them yours...
Don't you just love these cat-eye frames by Dior? They are so on trend and chic. You can dress them up or down, and still look fab! Here is how you can acquire this beauty, for the full price, or for less...

Hey Everyone,
Welcome! Today's style post is what I wore to Saturday Date Night with my boo. :) He got me this outfit as one of my birthday presents this year, so what better occasion to wear it to?! I wore it with a blazer, because you know the British weather cannot be trusted, even in the summer. I decided to accessorize with pastel colors, and it worked for me! Hope you like it too... Enjoy!

Stress is having difficulty coping with life's demands. A life without some stress would be boring. Most of us like some challenges, but too much stress creates problems. People who are overly stressed report difficulty concentrating, feelings of worry and fear, a sense that the body is wound up (for example, tense muscles, sweaty palms, and a pounding heart), irritability with others, and exhaustion. Too much stress over a long period of time can put your health at risk.

This outfit post is from this past Sunday after church. Let me tell y'all about this skirt!!! It was love at first sight! Since I got it I have been unable to keep it away from my behind. lol. I have literally worn it at least once a week (ok, maybe not that much, but it sure feels like it! lol). I would wear it everyday if I could. It is definitely one of my favorite pieces. I love the way it fits, and feels. Heaven knows that by the time I am done with this skirt, it will turn from orange to purple! haha. I am sure y'all get the picture!

Hey Everyone,
Hope you all are doing great. Today's outfit post was what I wore for my cousin's Introduction ceremony last week in Lagos, Nigeria. As the title says, the outfit is popularly called "Oleku". Basically, it a blouse, called "Buba", and a wrapper called "Iro", and the length of the wrapper depends on what you want. It can be combined with the same material in different or similar colors, or different materials in different colors, but they definitely have to complement each other. I bought the Ankara material used for this outfit in January when I went to Nigeria for Christmas. Even though I am not a huge fan of going to markets, because of the way traders holla and pull at you to come and buy things from them, I had to go inside Balogun Market in Lagos for this one. I had dreamed of this outfit before it was made, the colors and everything, so I had to go to the market myself to find exactly what I wanted. I also had to specifically tell the tailor which color of fabric to use for the top and bottom. Also, the necklace is one of my favorite pieces; it is bright and I just love it, so much so that I would wear it everyday if I could! lol. After the outfit was put together, it came out bright, which is so me! I hope you like the outcome... Enjoy!

Hello Everyone,
This outfit post was from one of the best moments of my life; it was my birthday, and I was in Paris! :D I woke up that morning and just wanted to be as bright and happy as possible! lol. After going through my suitcase, I decided on this outfit. I wanted something comfy and cozy, as I would spend the day walking the streets of Paris, and I had to wear these shoes that my sister gave me. The funniest part of it was, after I got dressed, KC looked at me and said, "You look really nice babe, but you and all these colors, you and my mum will have a Brawl!" That sentence cracks me up till this day! As much as it scared me a little (cos I definitely don't want to get in her bad books over my bright colored dressing), it didn't stop me from rocking my pastel hue. LOL. Enjoy!
Love,

It's no secret that I am crazy about Interior decor. Those that are closest to me can attest to this fact. Sometimes I just go to home decor stores just for the heck of it. With my love for decorations, it is only by the grace of God that my apartment isn't cluttered with stuff! lol! Also, I love to sleep, and I love to sleep in a well furnished bedroom even more! I love bedrooms with big wide windows that can potentially let in a lot of light. The brighter the colors in the room, the happier I am. Today, while browsing the web, a few bedroom decor were calling out to me, and I decided to share! Enjoy!
